WomenWeave - an organisation that Vanata supports.
Founded in Maheshwar, India in 2003, WomenWeave is a pioneering initiative that connects women—many of whom have never woven before—with sustainable livelihoods through the art of handloom weaving. WomenWeave empowers women who previously may have been 'shadowing' their male family members, and gives women the right to be an independent artisan with an income.
These scarves are more than beautiful textiles—they represent resilience, skill, and the transformation of traditional craft into economic independence. Each piece is a testament to ethical production, female strength and how communities can come together to support one another.

Made from locally grown hand-spun cotton and dyed with Azo-free vat dyes.
