We've worked with our friends at United Artisans of Kutch to produce our very first collection of kala cotton dresses, delicately embroidered by a group of women embroiderers from the Dhebariya Rabari community.
Unique Kediya Dress – Dhebariya Rabari Work
This is a handmade kediya style dress is made from naturally dyed, handwoven kala cotton — a breathable, climate-resilient fabric native to Gujarat. It features intricate hand embroidery by the Dhebariya Rabari community, a nomadic pastoral group from Kutch known for their striking use of chain and back stitch in vivid contrasts on plain cloth.
Each piece is one of a kind. The motifs reflect generations of tradition and cultural identity, brought into a contemporary, wearable form.
Thoughtfully made, rooted in heritage, and designed with longevity in mind.
Please note, this is our first collection so there will be variations in colour, stitch and design, but this means that you own a truly handmade piece from start to finish - no mass-production here!
