One of our purchases from artisans in Rajasthan, this grey and brown Lehera printed scarf from Rajasthan, featuring the region’s iconic wave motif. Handcrafted using traditional resist techniques, Lehera designs (or leheriya) is a traditional resist-dyed textile from Rajasthan, long associated with men’s turbans worn during the monsoon season.
Its wave-like diagonal stripes—leher meaning “wave”—symbolise water, renewal and movement, offering both practical lightness in the desert climate and rich cultural meaning. Historically worn for festivals and ceremonies, lehera remains a powerful expression of Rajasthani identity, now reinterpreted into contemporary scarves.
100% cotton. Can be washed on cool temperatures.
