Handcrafted using traditional resist techniques, Lehera designs (or leheriya) is a traditional resist-dyed textile from Rajasthan, long associated with men’s turbans worn during the monsoon season.
Its wave-like diagonal stripes—leher meaning “wave”—symbolise water, renewal and movement, offering both practical lightness in the desert climate and rich cultural meaning.
